The resources are all relevant and important in enhancing PG environment to both supervisors and students. I have observed that PG orientation is not taken seriously which make students to fumble around many issues especially on PG policies and timelines during their PG journey. Novice Supervisors should take this course on EPE before they embark on supervision, it is likely to enhance quality of PG supervision and completion rates in our universities

The website is great. To me all the 12 resources are useful all round in guiding postgraduate students from conceptualizing their research orientations and funding application to completion and dissemination of research findings. Some on writing to publish, thesis writing, reading a PhD and the importance of peer-reviewing were outstanding.

Using technology to your advantage: Mendeley (Part 1-6)
Am following keenly to emancipate my self and future students on the need for having and knowing how to use the Mendeley software for referencing.
Probably the tools/guides for assessing the students capability eg on Information literacy, progress etc can be included.

All of the resources are great and relevant.

For my own discipline I would add a section on reading for writing purposes and one on logical argumentation.

I found the EPE video much guiding. This is a wonderful experience. This empowers both the student and supervisor in terms of saving time, e.g. Case study E of session 3. The supervisor and the student embark on a fruitful research journey.

Each resource on the website is very useful for both supervisors and students. It will be useful for supervisors to pass them on to their students.

We often assume that some of the information available in this website is general knowledge whereas to some it’s not. The website has important resources to assist students when they start thinking or begin their postgraduate journey until the end, this benefit both the supervisor and students. One thing that strikes me the most is MOU-even if it’s not compulsory to sign it but the expectations and timelines are written down.

I found the materials on Research Design and Writing and scholarship development particularly useful to the extent that they offered not only a refresher on the issues tackled therein but also that the contents are very helpful for my research methodology classes. The content is also useful in helping me guide the students that I supervise.

This is a great space. I like this idea and its potential especially for helping the student navigate areas they may find challenging at their own pace especially in the areas of writing.

It is an amazing website. Research Design and Writing and Scholarship Development is particular useful for my context. It gives the prospective student clear guidance on the approach of the practical writing of his / her Thesis.

In addition to my previous post. I wanted to mention that information about research paradigms would be useful. I am willing to assist in this regard.
